League Speakers are available to meet with your school or community group. Our speakers are League member volunteers who have training to talk with your group about the following topics: The History and Importance of Voting How to Conduct a Voter Registration Drive Current Issues in Health Care Reform If you are interested in inviting a League Speaker to your program, please contact the League office, at least two weeks in advance of your event, by email (office@lwvnyc.org), fax (212-725-3443), or send a note (LWVNYC 150 Broadway, 14th Floor, New York, NY 10038) with the date and time of your program, an estimate of how many people will attend the program, and something about your school or organization. You can also call the League office at 212-725-3541 to discuss inviting a League Speaker.
